"Eagle River Detectives" is a captivating and thrilling read that will leave you hooked from beginning to end. The author skillfully weaves a tale of mystery, family bonds, and bravery. The characters are relatable and well-developed, drawing you deeper into their world. The story is filled with unexpected twists and turns, keeping you guessing until the very end. "This One's for You, Dad" serves as an excellent introduction to the series, and I'm excited to read the next book! If you're a fan of suspenseful mysteries and courageous young detectives, this book is a must-read.

I purchased and read this book and had an immediate opportunity to use the principles. I stepped into an individual's place of grief with much more confidence. I was empowered with strategies for conversations. The individual who is still processing her loss was receptive, and I observed her acceptance of not only my words but also my emotional presence. Thank you, Katherine Hussman Klemp, for sharing your wisdom.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book and the adventures the kids have. You do not have to be a young adult to immerse yourself in this book. The kids are wise beyond their years at both life and research. Looking forward to continuing the series to see where they go, what comes next and who they might meet that will help them.

If you are a person of faith, you will love this thoughtful little book of Christian "skits" and devotional readings. Each begins with a short "skit" which consists of a conversation among several church members who share the same pew at church. The author has designed these to be used as a sort of reader's theater that members of your family or your church congregation can read aloud. Each skit is followed by a short devotional reading that includes beautiful passages of scripture and an interpretation that dovetails the conversations held among the "Pewsitters." I loved learning that the genesis of these thoughtful little passages evolved among real-life Pewsitters who use the time before or after meetings not for small-talk, but for sharing uplifting messages and encouraging one another along the path. I love the idea of ministering to friends at church in this way. These would also be appropriate in small family settings, as part of youth camps, or just as private devotional readings, and they cover a wide variety of scriptural and spiritual topics. A gentle and thoughtful way to begin any meeting or gathering where the goal is to help others develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.
